I had the pleasure of meeting a lovely family with 2 gorgeous children.
When Bec contacted me, she advised that her 9 month old Freya has a rare syndrome. She has very low muscle strength and tone, only moderate head control and not much else. She also has micropthalmic eye (small left eye which is blind). She is also a little hit and miss with her smiles as she is developmentally delayed. Freya is epileptic and had a seizure just before her session. We still went ahead with her session and I think she did rather fine. There is no prognosis for Freya, so photos are even more important to this family of their beautiful little girl. She rocked her little Calvin Klein outfit and she was just adorable.
And big brother Jensen was also afraid of the camera……… *coughing* model 101, no fear visible on this day. He was awesome!
So here are a few favourite images from their session:
So as you can see, we captured memories that will be treasured forever. Photography is your only way to freeze these moments in time. The older your children become, the more valued your images will be.
And don’t ever let any limitations, illnesses stop you from capturing these special moments.
You will never regret a family portrait……
but you will regret not having one
