Family Session Pricing
All family photography sessions are booked with a session fee, with digital image collections purchased separately after you view your gallery.
Family Photography Sessions
Simple, timeless family portraits capturing a blend of gently guided poses and natural, authentic moments.
Family photography is what I specialise in. Sessions are relaxed, efficient, and designed to be enjoyable for everyone, including children of all ages. Session duration typically ranges from 45–60 minutes, depending on family size and session type.
All purchased images are professionally retouched and supplied as high-resolution digital files. This is what I do, and why you’re choosing a professional family photographer.
You don’t need to decide on your image collection until after you view your online gallery.
Session Options
Studio Family Session — $490 (inc GST)
A relaxed family photography session held in my Varsity Lakes studio, ideal for timeless, polished portraits in a comfortable, weather-proof environment.
Includes:
- Studio photography session
- 5 professionally retouched digital images
Studio & Sea Family Session — $590 (inc GST)
Begin with classic studio portraits, followed by a relaxed outdoor session at a nearby beach location.
If beach conditions aren’t suitable, your session will be completed in the studio so your session always goes ahead as planned.
Includes:
- Studio and beach photography session
- 5 professionally retouched digital images
Image Upgrades (Optional)
After your session, you’ll receive a private online gallery to view at home.
If you’d like more images, you may choose one of the options below.
- +5 additional images — $300
- +10 additional images — $550
- +20 additional images — $900
More than 20 images may be purchased at a per-image rate.

Booking & Payment
A $100 non-refundable booking fee is required at the time of booking to secure your session. This fee reserves your session date exclusively for you. The remaining session fee is payable on the day of your session.
Viewing & Delivery
- Preview gallery delivered within 7 days of your session
- Online preview gallery available for 14 days
- Final images delivered within 21 days of image selection

Studio Family Session
A calm, timeless studio session photographed at my private Varsity Lakes studio.
Studio sessions suit families who value flexible timing, complete weather certainty, and beautifully controlled lighting.
As a result, they work perfectly for immediate families and extended families of up to 14 people..

Studio & Sea Family Session
The best of both worlds — studio precision paired with a relaxed beach finish.
Each Studio & Sea Session begins in the studio.
When weather allows, the session then continues with a short beach component at Miami Beach during golden hour.
If conditions change, I complete the full session in the studio instead.
This option suits families of up to 14 people.

Extended Family Sessions
Extended family sessions work beautifully for reunions and multi-generation portraits.
Depending on your group size and needs, you can choose:
- a Studio-only session (up to 14 people), or
- a Studio & Sea session (up to 14 people)

Large Group Composite Sessions (14+ People)
For very large extended families, composite studio sessions offer a well-organised solution.
Instead of photographing everyone at once, I photograph each family group individually.
Afterwards, I professionally blend the images into one seamless panoramic portrait.
As a result, everyone looks their best, with consistent lighting and no long wait times. These sessions are quoted based on number of attendees and sessions required to create the final panoramic image.
